Contest a Parking Citation

NOTICE

Effective August 18, 2025, all contested parking citations issued within the Town of Indian Shores will be adjudicated through the Clerk of the Court.

Click the Clerk of Court's "Plea Not Guilty" option on the Traffic Ticket Options tab to select a plea of not guilty type: "Written Plea of Not Guilty" or "Request for Hearing or Affidavit of Defense". Please read and follow the instructions on how to submit the form, as Indian Shores cannot accept them.

  • Return the ticket by mail in the self-addressed envelope provided or drop a payment off at one of the convenient drop boxes.

  • Paid parking (ParkMobile) is enforced daily between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
  • Free parking is permitted from 5:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. (midnight).
  • Overnight parking is prohibited unless otherwise designated.
  • Accessible (disabled) parking spaces are not metered.
  • Indian Shores property owners may park in designated paid spaces without charge by clearly displaying their Emergency Island Re-Entry Pass inside the vehicle.

Parking fees (not parking citations) may be paid using the ParkMobile application, available for download on the App Store or Google Play.
