Beginning Monday, April 5, individuals age 18 and older will be eligible to receive the vaccine (16+ for the Pfizer vaccine).
Floridians in Pinellas County are encouraged to pre-register on the Pinellas County CDR Health Patient Portal, PatientPortalFL.com, or by phone at (844) 770-8548. They can also register on the state site at https://www.myvaccine.fl.gov. At this time, the closest state-operated vaccine sites are in our neighboring Hillsborough, Pasco and Manatee counties at this time.
Once pre-registered, you should be contacted when the vaccine is available in their area. However, checking the site each day is recommended as vaccines are being delivered every day.
Vaccines are also available at 150 CVS locations, 125 Wal-Mart and Sam’s Club locations, more than 70 Winn Dixie locations, soon-to-be over 600 Walgreens pharmacies, and every single one of the 730 Publix pharmacies across the state. Check with them for openings.
