The Indian Shores Police Department participates in the Chapter 185 Municipal Pension Plan, operating at a True Chapter Plan; rather than a Local Law Plan.  All full-time Police Officers are members of the Pension Plan, with the exception of Command Staff Personnel, who opt out of the plan.  Non sworn personnel, and part-time Police Officers are not members of this Pension Plan.

Meetings are open to the public, and notices will be posted within the Municipal Building, advising dates and times for the hearings.  All meetings, unless otherwise posted, are in the 4th Floor auditorium at the Municipal Building.
