The Knowledge Exchange Series on Hurricane Recovery and Disaster Response in Florida

In recent decades, Florida has seen an increase in the frequency and intensity of hurricanes. Catastrophic damages from recent storms such as Irma, Dorian, Milton, and Helene highlight critical challenges for local governments and the need for more robust disaster planning and response strategies. Forward Pinellas is pleased to provide the Knowledge Exchange Series on Hurricane Recovery and Disaster Response in Florida. Through research, interviews, and case studies the series identifies key recovery strategies, funding sources, and planning approaches that strength resilience. Resources are provided in the following formats: paper, video, and presentation
