The National Weather Service has indicated that storms will be forming over night with the best chance of thunderstorm activity in Pinellas County between 8am and Noon on Wednesday May 4
A strong cold front will push across the Florida peninsula late Tuesday night and Wednesday with numerous showers and thunderstorms developing across west central and southwest Florida with a few strong to severe storms possible. Locally heavy rainfall may also cause minor flooding of streets and low lying flood prone areas.
