August 8 is Deadline for Voters to Request a Ballot
to be Mailed for August 20 Primary Election
The Pinellas County Supervisor of Elections reminds voters that 5 p.m., Thursday, August 8, is the deadline to request a ballot to be mailed for the August 20 Primary Election.
To request a mail ballot, visit VotePinellas.gov, call (727) 464-VOTE (8683) or email MailBallot@VotePinellas.gov. If requesting via email, voters must complete and attach the official Statewide Vote-By-Mail Ballot Request Form.
From the start of mandatory early voting through 7 p.m. on Election Day, pursuant to Florida Statute 101.655, mail ballots may be provided only in the case of an emergency, and the voter or designee must complete a supporting affidavit (and designee form, if applicable).
Mail ballots may be returned to one of the three Supervisor of Elections Offices until 7 p.m. on Election Day. Voters may also return their ballot at one of 21 secure return locations throughout Pinellas County from August 10 through August 18. Check VotePinellas.gov or the mail ballot kit insert for hours and locations. Voted mail ballots cannot be accepted at polling places.
All ballots must be received at an Elections Office by 7 p.m. on Election Day. All accepted mail ballots are included in election results.
Voters may track their ballot status online at VotePinellas.gov/TrackMyBallot to find out when their ballot was mailed and when their voted ballot was received by the Supervisor of Elections.
