Posted on: December 26, 2023[ARCHIVED] Update: Emergency Beach Erosion Control Project - 12/26/2023
Please note the two important updates regarding the Beach Erosion Control Project:
- Please be informed that Gator Dredging, the company Pinellas County contracted with on project, informed us that they will be resuming work on January 2nd, which is a change from the initially planned date of December 26th.
- Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority (PSTA) Supervisor Terrence Selover has informed us that the PSTA will close the bus stop at 196th Ave. in Indian Shores for the duration of the erosion control project until further notice. Here are two additional bus stop options headed southward on Gulf Blvd.: Gulf Blvd + 197th Ave. W., Bus Stop ID: 3192 (North of 196th Ave. bus stop) and Gulf Blvd + Dock Way, Bus Stop ID: 3118 (South of 196th Ave. bus stop).
